Cleaning up some of the broken trees this afternoon. Temp in the 40s was good for that kind of work. I pushed one big pile away with the 2140. Dragged another pile with a chain and also put a big load on the old IH gravel truck. Got the worst of it done but theres still more to go. I'm amazed at the size of the healthy green trees that just snapped right off.

(quoted from post at 18:29:35 05/22/21) Where did those trees originate ? Indigenous or your ancestors handy work ?
The poplars in the photo are all native species but the maples were planted by my grandparents. Spruce trees by my dad. And me. Hard to believe we planted some of them fifty years ago.

My mother had a bad habit of planting trees real close to
buildings. Dealing with that now. I like trees. We have 300
Pecans. But I dont like them very close to buildings , wires
and gutters.
