You gotta be kidding UPDATE

Well...... Things have calmed down. Guy in NC talked to a local Allis B collector. He is now happy with the trade. Guy sold him a set of correct front rims, with tires. We talked for 15 minutes a bit ago, and he is happy with everything. He just needed to hear it from an Allis guy. Ahhhhh.... Now I gotta calm down......

This is the tractor we swapped. Allis B guy told him that having the correct wheels and tires would help keep the front end down. And fluid in front tires. I asked the preacher what I should do with the cub, roll it off the trailer into the barn, or roll it off in the corner of yard and wait on him to come get it. He said it's mine, go ahead and fix it.......

Kinda like when you give your wife an idea, but it isnt a good idea until someone other than you gives her that same idea.

Want to meet half way? I have the correct wheels and tires. Trade ya for something useful. As long as it don't eat.

Good it worked out,,I was gonna say,,you could tell him to speak to your customer relations manager,,SV Cummings ,,he would straighten the guy out

And the brakes! Well though the mighty tractor was a challenge, he saw the light (they do work don't they) Jim

He still doesn't know what was leaking. Sat on my trailer all night, rode 200+ miles. Never leaked a drop. Looked where I parked it in the barn for a month... No oil leakage visible.

Just goes to show you how inexperienced he is with tractors. If the tractor was leaking oil so badly, something would be low. Should be easy to check the oil levels and find where it's missing.

Of course I say that when I have a tractor that the engine oil dipstick says a quart low, I add a quart, and the dipstick still says it's a quart low an hour later. Same deal with the transmission. Dipstick says a gallon low, add a gallon, dipstick says a gallon low.

Could he have left the gas on and it fill the crankcase, making the oil run out? I'll be that's the case seeing as how it sounds like he's not a tractor guy. Glad it all worked out for you, good luck on the Cub!
