Getting that running gear fixed up a bit

You guys said it may be IH, so I painted it red after sandblasting.
With the braces I welded in and rod, it probably weighs 120 lbs more.
I thought the steering pivot needed some attention, so I made my own.
It was easier than trying to straighten that mess. It's coming along.

Yep, i remember seeing them advertised in the Buyers Guide, and i had a neighbor had one, with a bale rack on it, he had another one he pulled together, he made a lot miles with them trailers !
 
Definatly a McCormick. I don't have my parts book handly to give you the model but it is in the master parts book.
 


I had one that had apparently been in a wreck before I bought it. I was unable to get the front end right so I finally jacked the front up and swapped in a new one.
