Ford 9N

Hello,

My brother in law purchased this Ford 9N and it has some peculiar features. No SN stamping, no PTO no hydraulics no 3 point and these interesting rear wheels. We were thinking it was from a Ford plant at one time. Person who he purchased it from is a family friend who couldnt recall any info. The person he bought this from is long deceased. Any ideas on this?

Radius rods say it is a 2N not a 9N so could be a stripped down war tractor

Proably could get N hyd /pto delete but looks to have 32 inch centers welded to 28 inch rims.

A friend once had an 800 diesel like that. It had been used underground in a coal mine.It was beat to crap,dont thinkI ever saw a tractor beat so bad that still ran.Everything that could be broken had been broken. Your 9/2N isnt beat at all,so you can be sure it was never in a miners hands.

RWK, You are right. It is some sort of add-on that must attach by bolts in the PTO plate holes as well as from some of the trumpet bolts on each side.
