My brother left me with a lot of half repaired vehicles. When he died last year. The biggest problem now is a mid 80's Ford four wheel drive pickup. The front ring, and pinion were bad. he managed to take it apart. It's in his shop taking up space. I would like to move it. Can I put the front axle back in, and just install the hubs, don't connect the drive shafts. If I do that, Will it move like that under it's own power? I can't sell it like it is. Stan

Yes, you can do that. Leave the driveshafts out and the shaft from the transfer case as well. It will roll just fine on what is left.
