Plow day tomorrow

If you're in the mid Michigan area tomorrow and want something to do, we're having a plow day. A mile west of Sheridan on County Farm Road then a mile north on Brown. We'll start there at 9am, then come back down to the corner of County Farm and Brown in the afternoon.

Hosted by Lund Farm and Hansen Trucking, sponsored by Old Iron Tractor Club. You don't have to be a member to participate. All brands welcome. Loader tractor available all day to unload and load out. 45 acres to plow.

Sounds like a good time. If I lived a little closer I would at least come up and watch for a while.
Being a self proclaimed expert I'm sure I could tell everyone what they are doing wrong ha ha.

Hopefully you'll have some pictures to share.

ONLY 45 acres? The guys on the Cub Cadet garden tractor site do 45 acres with just garden tractors. But
they post pictures with 35-40 tractors in the furrow at the same time, almost all with a single 10 inch
bottom, it adds up, Guy that hosts the plow day built a scale model of an IH semi-mounted 2-12 #720
plow, has a turbo-diesel Cub Cadet that pulls it.
I've gone 4 times to plow, twice to watch. To be quite honest a garden tractor with 23-8.50x12 rear
tires does NOT ride well in most farm fields, I'd rather plow with a BIG tractor.

Aw man.... I got to work. But i will give you a blast on the airhorns as I go by about 230. Going to grand rapids across 57.

Sounds fun to me. Wish i could be there. Enjoy. Randy is that the 66 you got the other year. RB
