Ford 8000 power steering

Hello, Ive views these forums for years and got a lot of advice and help from them but Ive now run across a problem and cant find any info pertaining to it. I bought a Ford 8000 for 4K 2 days ago got it home at 11 pm. Uploaded it and parked it. I started it yesterday and fluid sprayed from the power steering pump at the front of the tractor. I shut it off right away and fluid continued to run from it. I started it back up and have no power steering and fluid continued to run from the pump. I shut it off and started searching forums. It has pump c7nn3n675b. This seems to be a rare pump and there may be a replacement pump. One thing I did take note of is whenever you started the tractor prior to the pump giving up the ghost the wheels always turned to the right. There was no resistance to turn them back left and it steered wonderfully other then them turning to the right if you didnt hold the wheel. Any help would be much appreciated. If I missed another post pertaining to this in the past I apologize in advance.

Hopefully Majorman or MJ will chime in to help you out. You may have to trace the parts by
disassembling and use the the old bearing and seal numbers.

Does your system have the reservoir combined with the pump or is the reservoir separate up above by the top of the radiator?

No the reservoir is under the lid where the radiator fill cap is.
It looks just like this pump. https://www.tractorpartsasap.com/power-

Link doesn't work.

It didnt attach. Its the only pump that looks different from the rest. It has ribs instead of a smooth outer shell.

You have to make five posts, or go down to site comments and ask permission before you can post a pic. Your system is the same as the one on my 9000. Have you identified the exact spot where it is leaking? It is most likely a hose or tube or connection and not the pump itself.

Its spewing from the pump housing close to where it bolts to the
back side of the gear train there is a slot about 1/8 x 1-1/2 where it
is drizzling out of. Ill see if I can take a picture of it and maybe have
enough posts to actually upload it.

Also the engine oil is pretty high. Could it be the front seal in the P/S pump and its leaking into the engine oil?

It sounds like you need a seal kit. Part # DHPN3A674 $36.23 at Messick's. I don't think that the oil would leak into the engine since it has that slot for it to come out.

Thats what I was thinking but wasnt sure if I could rebuild it or if I had to replace it. I took a video with a full reservoir. It pumps out about a quart in 3 seconds.

So I got the seal kit I found a ripped seal. I replaced that one as the rest looked pretty solid. I went back out the next day and before I started it I noticed it was dripping. I checked the reservoir to find it empty. I pulled the pump back apart and noticed a tiny hairline crack in the nose cone of the housing. Pumps shot time to find a new pump.
