They look like Knudson tractors built in northern North Dakota years ago. Never seen one in person, but are big hillside 4wd's built in the 70's.

I seen a Knudson at a farm show, way back, but thought they were made in Montana,if it was North Dakota, do you remember what town it was?

Crosby ND, northewest corner, you can smell Monatana and Canada from there. Thats where the green and white ones were built, they sold out to Almand (sp) brothers mfg and the yellow and white ones were made in Nebraska for a time, I am not sure where. I think the cabs on those things were bigger than my living room.

I watched the last hour of the auction and it looked like some one really wanted the Sawyer-Massey real bad.

That's for sure. For a while the same
bidder had the high bid on the Sawyer and
the Big 4. I can't believe the Sawyer went
higher than the Big 4. They were both very
nice machines.
