Good evening all,
I'm new to the forum, as I am to anything larger than a garden tractor. I recently purchased a '73 Universal (Long) 445 DT-C 4x4 with loader. I noticed some oil coming from the rear hydraulic lift. Looked through the parts manual and didn't see any gaskets. Is there any? Are there any Long dealers left in the US?
Thank you for any responses in advance.

A possible leak location is where the shafts emerge from the casting. To assess, clean it well with a solvent, then run it and check the under side of
the shafts. They are likely an Oring seal. Jim

I owned a Long 445 tractor 30 years ago and parts were hard to obtain then, Long tractors are not made any more
and havent been in quite awhile, sorry but cant help you on the leak, maybe someone else will chime in soon. I
once waited 6 months to get a part for the Long that I had and once I got it and got the tractor running again I sold it.

I have a 445 long if the leak is coming from the rock shaft (the shaft where the three point arms
attach)its probably the o ring Just inside the housing.call rick at ricks at parts .tell him what its
doing and he will know what you need to do and has the parts
