They are nice the only thing I liked the Lincolns pumped grease faster . I someday might get one hopefully

In the same boat with all the fittings on the backhoe. We had a battery powered Lincoln over at my friends farm. It was nice for the 315 NH, the 6620 combine and that big ole new JD disc harrow he bought. I thought it performed well, the Dewalt should work nicely I would think, let us know what you think of it, has to be a labor saver.

Got 2 guns and neither one is battery powered. One is a lever gun and the other is a pistol grip style. Both have their places. I like the lever with the 4 foot long hose for the combine and not having to have the second guy climbing all over to pump grease. Also is handy for the disc so Dad doesn't have to climb in around the frame he can just walk around while I do it. The other works good for under equipment where 2 can't get in under. Like on the truck and trailers.

I have a 12V Milwaukee, which is good enough for me. Neighbor has a big old Lincoln. We were greasing his big roller yesterday, together, and his Lincoln is a lot faster, and more powerful than my Milwaukee. Maybe it's time for a new battery?

I have a Dewalt line that and my only slight complaint is it is heavy. One of the places I work has an older Lincoln and another has a Milwaukee. All work well.

It amazes me sometimes on the old machinery I find a fitting where there isn't room to work a grease gun handle or you need to get both arms in where the fitting is and can only fit one. I've been thinking of getting a battery operated gun but one thing I don't want is one more battery system. I already have 3 systems between 18 volt, 20 volt and 24 volt plus a different one for the leaf blower I have and none of the brands I have offer a grease gun. I have a forth if you count 18 volt NiCd vs 18 volt Lithium. Don't really use the NiCd's any more but the ones I have still work.

I have a Dewalt too. After sitting in hot pole barn, most of the grease ended up on the back side of the piston. When I pulled the rod back to put in a new tube I found the grease coming out the back side.

Now when I'm done, I pull the rod back and lock it to remove spring tension on piston.

Most of the time when I use it, I'll use almost a tube. Other than that, I'll keep it until it dies.

Is that the twenty volt model? Dang I'm Jealous! I'm going to get one some day, I'm just waiting to see if I can drop enough hints and get the wife to buy one for my birthday.

I like my 18 volt Ryobi I got on sale for about $85 last year.
About to go out and grease a mower to use this afternoon.

I've got a lincoln I plucked out of the scrapyard. Cost me $20 to get a charger for it. The only time I hand pump grease now is the odd occasion I can't get my lock n lube fitting on a zerk.

Speaking of Lock n Lube.... If you don't have one, get one. I procrastinated for a long time over the $30 price tag. I was wrong, that thing is amazing and worth every penny.

We have the electric dewalt grease gun and it works great. We put about 3 boxes of grease through it a year.

Good for you ! I bought one just like it almost a year ago, use it almost every day and love it . The long hose sure comes in handy. I do also carry a Lincoln lever gun as a back up just in case.

Sure been tempted to get one of those but with what little machinery I have don't really need one, except when I go to grease the disk. Darn, there must be 20 zerks on that thing. I help my son harvest with his two 9600 combines and he has two power grease guns and it really cuts down on the service time on the combines. Looks like a good investment.
