Parts and shipping

Has anyone else had an issue with shipping from Yesterday's Tractors? My order was supposed to have been delivered today, 4/15/21, but according to the UPS website, it hasn't
even been picked up yet. Just curious if there was an issue with something not listed, impossible to contact them about the order.

I have an order that was ordered Friday, shipped yesterday (Weds), and supposed to be here Monday. Last time I ordered, I had it in 2 days.

On the other hand, last time I ordered from a competitor, it took them 2 weeks to ship.

Cruiser welcome to YT! I cannot speak from direct experience because I have not ordered parts from YT. I have been on the forums here for 8 years and I have heard way more positive feedback about parts quality and on time arrival than I have heard negative. I dont know if you have tried this but I would suggest calling them. Click the red oval at the top right that says ..Shop Now.. Scroll down and in the box with PayPal at the top shows their 800 number. Dang..would have been easier to just type in the phone number than to describe how to find it. Dum de dum dum...hope they get your issue straightened out.

Ordering parts from anywhere now a day's is a crap shoot with delivery time. Most businesses of any kind no longer keep a big Inventory. You order something and then they order it in and then ship it to you. With the very limited inventory in the supply chain you never know how long its going to take.

I ordered some parts from Dennis Carpenter a few weeks ago. One order took two weeks and the next one took three days. Simple stuff that was supposed to be in stock and DC is only 50 miles away. Messics hasn't been any faster lately either.

I ordered a couple tires from tire rack and had them in a couple days. Had to order to get 8 ply tires for pickup. Could not get a steer type tread without paying way more than a lug/snow tread tire so put them on the front.

I have had orders that got delivered before the tracking ever got updated. Not necessarily from YT but just in general.

I ordered some fast hitch latch springs and a muffler rain cap from YT, about 2 weeks ago. the springs arrived in about 3 days, with no fanfare. The cap took about a week, with tracking numbers, updates to expected delivery date, etc etc. Whatever, the stuff is all here now.

I placed an order a couple months ago. Some came from YT in Port Townsend, some were dropped shipped from one place, and some drop shipped from another place. All that took extra time. I had a thread somewhere on that, maybe on the IH forum.

Have ordered stuff last year from Abilene Machine and even drove up there a couple times. Knew I needed a clutch and with the engine in the machine shop, I ordered early. It was dropped shipped except the throwout bearing was back ordered as the pilot bearing. Another month for those but it worked out as the machine shop wasn't done yet. They didn't say anything about back ordered so now I call first.

So with YT I called them first to confirm everything was in stock as I needed them asap. Waited on hold for an hour but finally talked to the guy, who was busy, he confirmed every thing was in stock. Placed the order on line to save his time. I got everything but he didn't tell me about the drop shipping from other places. So YT and the other drop ship places don't have online tracking like Amazing.

Went through the ordeal of trying to order firecrater pistons for a C221 that weren't being made. Everyone showed in stock online but when you call they check and say not available. As it turns out most were drop shipping from Reliance which was the first place we checked and knew they didn't have any.

I have an Amazon order from march that is to be delivered 4/21,tracking says my newest order was in St Louis yesterday, and now it is in Springfield IL. All it has done is move sideways. They say it will deliver tomorrow,no it won't, we are closed on Saturday. There are millions of dollars worth of parts and appliances sitting on ships,in ports, waiting to unload.
