Converted my tractor loader to quick attach bucket
all went well until I back bladed pulled one side of
bucket off ? How far should the pins go through
brackets? Is there anything I can re in force to
prevent this from happening ?

I think about the only thing you can do is make the springs stiffer by shimming them up until you can barely operate the handles.
When they get old, sometimes replacing the springs helps, but since yours is new, that isnt much help.
Besides spring pressure, its all about the shape of the wedges that poke down through the holes in the bucket. Too steep and they can pop up when down pressure is applied to the bucket, too shallow and youll have a heck of a time getting them to release after the bucket has been on for a long while.
Was your QA perhaps made overseas? Some of those can be pretty hit or miss.

Was the plate and latch clean with no accumulated mud or dirt packed in there. I had trouble with one bucket on my skid steer last winter after leaving it outside in the snow and ice built up on the plate and apparently wouldn't allow the pin to seat as far as normal. Just a thought.

One thing to look at is the levers push the latches through the slots in the bucket going down far enough. On my Mahindra I have to use a cheater pipe on the to get them to lock into place due to the springs being so stiff. If I don't get those levers locked down they will back off and allow the bucket to do what your did.

Hope this helps

IF this system is similar to New Holland, the ramps on the pins and the slots on the attachment have to be in reasonably good condition. If one or both of these components are worn out, it allows to the lip on the top of the attachment to come up over the top of the tool carrier and become disconnected. I have fixed a number of LX-565s and 665s by welding a piece of strip steel, about 1 x 5 , over the worn part of the slot to give the chamfer of the pin a flat surface to wedge against. Hang the attachment on the carrier and measure the gap between the bottom of the carrrier and the bracket that the pin goes through, and use as thick as possible, a piece of steel that will fit in the gap.
Regarding the pins, replace them if they are not too pricey , otherwise you can just fill in the worn spot with weld and grind it back to the original bevel. Before you start these repairs, make sure the carrier or the attachment isnt bent from coming off and hanging on one pin.
