We are into the second day of a winter storm here in Sask. Not so much snow but what there is has been blown into big drifts by the extreme winds. I actually got stuck in a snow bank with the Massey going to pick up a bale of hay. Couple of days ago we were driving around on dry grass and bare ground.

Seeing the frisky calf and watchful mama makes me chuckle. That snow would be depressing this time of the year. Its not unheard of for us to get a snow like that in mid April in northwest Iowa but it does not happen often.
 
Thats some kind of weather you are enjoying way out there on the prairie. Just kind of a dull overcast day with showers here in Ontario. No insulated overalls or gloves for me though, still can walk quite comfortably from the house the the barn in shorts. 58F here today
 
old saying here, Winter is not over until it decides it is. I am in Central Washington, last week we had enough snow in the Cascades to require chains. We are lucky I think because south of us in Oregon and California they are in a drought.
 
We got 4" here, but that's not enough to mess with photos. Seeing as how the snow is/was so wet, can't help but wonder how many inches of 'normal' snow it would be here. Over a foot for sure!

Before that was extremely dry. Can't ever remember a Spring in 20 years that was as dry as before this snowfall.

One of the guys I follow on youtube in Oregon has had rain pretty much every day for a long time now.
 
Its snowing enough here southern MN they have road conditions, slick roads. Tho not really accumulating on the grass.

I was planting oats a week ago in a tee shirt, no coat no cab, until 7:00pm and wasnt cold at all.

Brrrr now.
