Got the love joy coupler, got hydraulic pump mounted. Drilled new motor mount holes in frame. Motor in. And it works!!! Runs, drives, lift works, tiller works. And it got tested in the garden at 8:30 pm.....dark!! Now for wiring, and proper gas tank. And choke cable. Can't tell you how happy wife and I are. $250 on tractor with tiller. $150 for donor tractor. $20 bucks for coupler piece. Tickled pink we pulled it off .

That donor is probably a 982, the best model cub cadet ever made. So leftover parts should be easy to sell.

wow! Good work!
And don't forget the custom paint job. Although those little Case tractors looked very sharp just the way they came with the factory colors.

Plan to paint it back orange, not a fan of the rattle can black someone did..... Odd that we think factory is better??

Picture of donor. Not much good on it. Maybe mower deck. And pto clutch?

Try going to ebay and type in the model of your cub cadet.

The listings of parts for it will come up.

Click to sort by highest price first then select sold items.

This will give you a real good idea of which if any parts from it are in high demand and worth saving.

Sometimes things like a simple bracket, pulley or steering gear that is obsolete can bring you a good return on what you think is junk.

So did you take the engine out of a cub cadet?? If you did yes it has to be mounted like it had been in the case. The engine mounts sort of backwards in a cub cadet

Transaxle and driveshaft are saleable too. Take a look on eBay sold items for parts for that model to get more info.
