Upgraded my 08 to an 18 yesterday. Maybe I'll be good for 15 more years.

You will like it....better gas mileage, a bit more user friendly instrument panel, roomier rear seat. The front hinged rear doors on the 18 provide a more secure quieter cabin.

WOW ! what State are you from as that 2008 looks good. You rarely see one that old that nice here in Ohio.

The new one looks nice but the 08 still looks good. I have a 07 Chev HD with 70,000 miles on it but can't bring myself tp spend the 60,000 they want for a mew replacement.

My '18 has been great so far. 5.3L 4x4 Club cab, same color. I added E rated tires, in cab controlled air bag assist on rear axle, tri-fold tunneau cover, undercoated and Rhino lined. I moved my backup camera to sneaking a peek through the license plate because I take the tailgate off to mount my 6.5 foot slide in camper (1300 pounds). I hook to my 24' enclosed trailer and head to tractor show/flea markets.
At the end of the month I will pull my 24' travel trailer to central Michigan area for the summer at my son's property.
As a side, I ONCE got 29.3 miles per gallon over 25 miles (no load). I refuse to erase it off the IP. I have done 26 and 27 miles to the gallon several times.
Enjoy!

Mine is the same, LT with the V 6. I also left my best mileage up in the info centre....it was a very windy day, and I had a 40 mph tailwind and had to keep my speed to about 40 mph...it registered just under 40 miles per imperial gallon. I show that to the Ford guys, lol!

till run my 1962, but we don't have much salt here in Texas. :D

I've thought of upgrading my 2001, but I want something older. Something that I can work on and fix. Something like a '51 model.
