Spark Plugs for 1944 JD A

Hey everyone,

Is there anyone out there who can find some new old stock Champion 8ComC or E/S Z19 spark plugs?

Would love a pair for my Johnny Popper.

Thanks,
Matthew

he is talking old stock from the 1020's and 30's. those 8 com plugs were changed up many years ago.

Ya, 10th century spark plugs would be quite an archeological find! ; >) .... It would be interesting to me to know if the rest of his tractor is spot on restored to the ninth degree?? Pictures??

ya be interesting to see. i have them old ones in my wd40 just for the nostalgia of it. as a spark plugs in the gas starts will outlast the tractor.

Yeah, I thought it would be a nice touch to really give an original aesthetic. Plus, it's nice having two piece plugs that you can just take apart and clean when you need to

I've seen a few turn up on here over the years. Not very often, and often years between, but it can happen!
You never know, someone may look in their attic and come across some (I can hope, anyway!)

Honestly, we've never had issues with the D16s my grandpa's used over the years.
The 8COMs I'm looking for are original 1940s stock, but even more recently, never had a reason to switch so far

No pictures until she's completely done, but we're getting there ;)
I'll be putting up pictures hopefully by summer with the finished product, and (hopefully) with some original spark plugs!
Only thing I'm still trying to deal with is the steel core rad. With it being a 44, it's right in the middle of wartime production, and my original steel core is missing a good third of its fins, and copper just doesn't sit right with me
