How hard is it to cut

You can't cut cast iron with a torch. So you are going to have to use a Sawzall with a metal cutting blade at a slow or speed. Or a cut off wheel on your side wheel grinder would probably work. A water jet cutter would probably be the best if you have a place close to you that does that kind of work . What kind of weight are you putting on which tractor? Any pictures?

SVcummins,Do you know of anyone are a good welding shop that has a good quality plasma cutter? A good one will eat right through 2" cast iron. (not a HF el cheapo) My big Snap On will.

Hacksaw! LOL

As suggested previously that would be a piece of cake for a water jet. Luckily we have a guy locallly.

I cut a cast iron semi brake hub in half a couple of years ago for my grandson to use as a forging fire pit,it was a inch thick around the diameter and a sawzall with a sharp metal blade made short work of it.You probably would have to drill a hole large enough for your bit to start yours first but it would go easier than you think after that. You don't need any lube, just air if anything at all.

My dad, an old tool and die maker, had a friend in the business that offered to bore some bolt holes in some wheel weights. He hit a scrap ball bearing that must've been in the cast.

Looking to put 2 more John Deere cast 145 wheel weights over the dual hub and spacers they cant go on the inside

Some of the real old welding textbooks tell how to cut cast iron with gas torch. You need at least three hands to do it
