Where can I find values for old one banger motors?

My dad and I have 2 Fairbanks Morse Z motors we want to sell we think, one is a 3 horse 1924 and the other is a 6 horse 1920 (we think).

Both have been completely disassembled and put back together, rebuilt carbs and mags, both run perfect. They were repainted about 4 years ago and aren't prefect from sitting in a barn but still clean up decent.

What do you guys think they are worth? Thanks, Bryce
 
I don't know what they are worth, but were you able to find lower main bearings for the 3 HP?

If so, where?

I'm going through one now and need a good parts source.

I don't believe we replaced them when we had it apart because that one was a good runner when we got it, i'll ask my dad and see if by chance he remembers...
 
Poke around over on Smokstak. I believe they also have the old Engine Ads as well. That market seems strong right now. Aumann Auctions might also have some listings or some archives to check.
 
I would search Craigslist and Facebook in your area. There is also a good Facebook page with hit and miss engines.
