Destroked450......chicken pest question

We use to spray Tempo or Credo for darkling beetle control but that was it, we now have a guy that sprays for us but it's still for beetle control.
We don't have a lice issue but we only have the birds for 40 or less days from hatch to market, we raise the smaller 3.5 to 4 lb rotisserie chickens.

(quoted from post at 20:35:41 03/27/21) I occasionally spray a regular water/permethrin mix, per the label.
Do yo spray directly on the chickens or just the premise and keep chickens out until the spray has dried?
Been doing the spray premise then let dry in the am while chickens are out free ranging.
Using permethrin/water mix per directions.
Chicks are dying off in five days due to their faces being covered with the stick tights.
I even swab the bastards with a spray soaked q tip and it seems to have no effect on them.

I just spray the permethrin in the bedding. For the birds themselves, a good dusting of Sevin is supposed to work well.

Lots of info out there, Permectrin II seams to work better if mixed at 5% which is a little stronger than label recommends, some are using 7 dust on the coup floors, Adams puppy and kitten spray can be applied directly on the chickens.
The fleas drop their eggs at night so the coup needs cleaned and treated regularly to stop the life cycle of the fleas.
Most recommend cleaning every 8-10 days with spraying and or dusting every day and doing this for 2-3 months, treating the area they run in is also important.
