My wife always gets amnesia when shes wrong but seems to remember verbatim what I said when Im proven wrong .
 


Bill brings his best golf buddy Charlie home, unannounced, for dinner at 6:30 p.m., after golf.

His wife screams her head off while Charlie sits open mouthed and listens to the tirade.

"My bloody hair and makeup are not done, the house is a mess and the dishes aren't done.

Can't you see I'm still in my pajamas and I can't be bothered with cooking tonight!

Why did you bring him home unannounced, you stupid idiot?"



Bill says: "Well, Charlie is thinking about getting married."
 
My first wife was past master at remembering things that never happened. No, I don't have faulty memory, I'm not the only one who contradicted her.
 
My first ex was not into forgive, but sometimes forgot...

Once after months of silent and not so silent rage, I stopped her and said:

You've been mad so long you don't even remember what you are mad about!

A few glorious moments of crickets!
 
Selective memory loss, along with selective hearing loss affects many. After a while, it is safest to just nod and say the famous last words, yes dear, you are right.
 
I said to her, I think you are mad because you want to. She thought about it and agreed. Unfortunately, I realized that I would never be able to say that to her again.

Isn't it odd that we get to play one card, once, but they can play the same one over and over again?
 
25th this year yet. Ups and downs but wouldnt trade it for anything else.

You cant work the fields today,,you have to take your fianc shoe shopping,,,???

Youll have to shut the Jd off,,,get in the car,,and go shoe shopping at the mall////

Will you say,,,,yes dear????
 
OH you will LOVE it you might as well get the first one over with just plan on giving half your stuff and your house away ,then you will hopefully find a good women and you will forget the first, I'm on 30 years with the second
 
Women never forget anything you say. Even worse they never forgive or forget what they thought you meant. Doesn't even matter if it was just a bad dream. You're still just as guilty! I have decided it's a female DNA trait that can't be avoided so no point in fretting over it.

Been married 22 years. Several years ago I finally figured that out - that when she's angry, it's almost always because of something I did or said in her dreams. It has even been that some woman was flirting with me in her dreams but I didn't do anything to stop it. So now my first reply when she's mad is, "[i:393d87c40a]OK, what'd I do wrong in your dreams THIS time[/i:393d87c40a]?!?!?" Life has been much calmer ever since.

But yeah, that ability to have TOTAL RECALL with all history (when it suits her) is a hard one to fight. I won't play that game and she knows it.

22+ years and only a handful of huge arguments. Life is good. :mrgreen:
 
We went to a couples Valentine dinner at church centering around marriage and conflict resolution.

They showed a video of typical couples conflict situations.

They would play the video leading up to the argument, then stop and ask what did he say and what did she say?

Even knowing to listen closely, probably 50% of the audience got at least something major wrong in their recollection.

Then we tried it between each other, few could repeat what was said by the other exactly.

Point was, so many arguments stem from miss communication! Followed by refusal to admit it!

Pride wins again!
 
Ive come to the conclusion after 46 years that Ive gotten into a LOT more trouble being RIGHT then being wrong!!!!!
 
All you guys with so many problems with ex wives.

My ex flies on a broom.
My ex does this.
My ex does that.

But how quickly we forget it was the man that got down on his knees and begged her to marry him.

So now we can hear about how She Changed but you stayed the same.
When usually the opposite is true.

It is the nature of the beast for a male to chase a female.
But once the male concurs the female they loose interest in chasing.
And once a female is not be chased she will loose interest in the male rather quickly.
 
Thats true I believe sometimes I know a lot of guys treat women like crap but some of em are psycho Just the same
 
most of the problems between Mrs. 730 and I were caused by her daughter. I have no idea how much money we paid on her bills and bailing her
little azz out of jail.
Many night Mrs. 730 would lay in bed crying her eyes out because of daughter
