1990 580 Case 2wd Extend a hoe remove engine

I need to do some welding to repair a motor mount that is welded to the frame, such as the Bell Housing and front hydralic pump. I need to remove the engine to get to that area. Are there any things I need to know before I start?

Hello MV welcome to YT. There may be someone that
chimes here to lay things out for you. I am pretty
certain that machine has a torque converter, you need
to know how to disconnect that or whatever the
procedure is so that is not damaged. Probably a very
expensive part to replace. As is a common answer
here...looks like $40 can get you a repair manual.
Purchasing that before you attempt this project will
likely be money well spent. Just web search your
model with the letter designation with manual after it
many options will show up. YT parts could probably
get you one, but from what I see you will have to call
them tomorrow and ask if they can get one because
they do not list one. Best of luck!

If it is like my brothers 58K the rear end is connected with a short drive shaft. IF you could split it there would make it easy to put back together when done. would solve the Other split problems too.
