step son stopped by this evening with a 5 lb pike he caught. cleaned it outside out side on the bench. i said joking to him all you need is the fire. he says sure i will cook it. got the little hotplate out and he had all the rest of the stuff cast pan and batter mix and so on. as he cooks his fish right at the lake. cooked it right in the shop and had had a snack and a wobbly pop. and a visit. was really good fish. i just got the 806 moved in today to check the pump pressure but spent all afternoon looking for the correct osb fitting for the mcv , did not have one. so thats got to wait till monday.

Mmmmm! We used to do that right on the beach. Nothing better than a fresh fish fry.

Looks good. We eat a lot of meals at our shop. We have a pizza oven, crock pot, hot plate, microwave and a fridge. What more does a man need???? Bill

Probably the best rinbow trout I ever ate, we caught while ice fishing.
We had a small hut, three of us, two fished inside, I had to hold my pole
oout the door, so tight. We had a small barrel stove inside too.
After we caught a few pan-sized, my friend proceded to fry them up
in a sheet metal skillet (not a cast iron one) with butter and salt and pepper.
They were SO GOOD!!!!
