I'm in northeast Colorado.. We got about 3 ft. Yesterday. Very windy. I have 4 to 5 ft. Drifts. A 4 ft drift covering my solar panels!

I hope that your brother is Ok. Does he have a generator? I have enough battery power for three or four days, just for my tv and some led lites. The tv only uses1.5 amps and the led lite, very little. I went out yesterday to dig the drift off of my cat's house and was completely covered with snow and ice in only a few minutes! She got to stay in the house last nite! It was snowing hard! I hope no one died yesterday.

My next door neighbor drives a semi on a dedicated run between Ogden, Utah and Detroit, Michigan. He left this morning, and came back in about an hour.
I didn't talk to him, but probably because I-80 was closed in western Nebraska.
I had an appointment with an ophthalmologist in Hastings, NE today, and we usually go west on I-80 to Grand Island and then jog south to Hastings. An overhead sign on I-80 said I-80 was closed at Grand Island. We bailed out at the Doniphan exit two miles short of Grand Island, so I'm not sure what was going on.
