9.5 X 15 Tires

Anyone with this tire size on 6" rim? Have these rims off a NH mix mill and would like to put on Farmall 656. Had a MF 265 with 9.5's and they were pretty much flat across. Any pictures of said tires mounted on 6" rims?

I agree with you, but they recommend 6"to 8". That is why I would like to see a picture of said combo.

On 8 inch rims. 6 in is too narrow.

Are you referring to 9.5L-15 tires? If so the 8" rim is the only width approved by the Tire and Rim Association with no alternates listed.

The 6 to 8 width is from Miller Tire specs for that size tire. Sure don't want to look at a balloon tire all day. Still would like to see what 9.5's look like on 6" rim. Yes 9.5L. May go with 7.5L.

If it's a wide front they will rub. There is very little space between the tire and the knee when it is the right width tire on the right width rim. The extra bulge caused by putting the tire on too narrow of arim will make it rub.

A 6 inch rim will tend to pinch it in to much, and ride in the middle of the tread. With little wear on the sides. Or if there is enough load, to make it ride on the sides also, it will tend to cup and scalp the tire as it runs.
