Can you swap out a diesel block with a gas block and still use the diesel parts ? will they fit in a gas block ?

The block, crank, rods, cam, all bearings
and rocker arms are all identical between
gas and diesel. Early diesels used the same
lifters and push rods as a gasser as well.
Some time, maybe about 1968 or 69 they
changed those in the diesels but they run
fine with either. I have two 3 cylinder
Ford diesels that I made out of gassers.
Change your pistons, head, intake manifold
and put your injectors and pump on it and
voila! youve got a diesel.
PS, I have a set of new pistons for a 3000
diesel I would let go of cheaply.
