When I worked for an insurance company, I'd occasionally talk to someone in Alaska.

Sometimes in the winter it would be warmer in Alaska than here in Nebraska.

Currently FL. Will be heading home in 2 1/2 weeks. Sunny and going to 80 here today. I'm sure it won't do that in MI.

You must be visiting relatives as Clermont is not known as a touristy destination.

Alaska gets a warm air stream from the southern Pacific like England gets warm are from the Gulf of Mexico. Anchorage weather is comporable to Mid-west or Great Lakes.

I'm getting into this a little late but yesterday (wed) the temp went from 75 to 33 in a couple hours. It went from short sleeves back to long sleeves and sweat shirts.

Been coming down here for 6 years, January thru March. Come for the warm weather, not the touristy things. Really like the lakes and hills.

Ah, yes hills in Florida do break up the monotony of mostly flat jungle land in the state. Quite an arid area as well.
I need to drive over to visit the "Carryall golf cart guy" there in Clermont on of these days.
