Farmall 450 tires and rims

I have a farmall 450 with 15. -38ntires and need a replacemnt rim but mine has 8 lug loops and the steinter model has 6 I cant seem to find a replacemnt any ideas??
 
Are you sure they are "lug loops" or are they wedges? Take a closer look.

Most 450's came with double bevel style rims which are common and easy to obtain. They are fastened to the wheel with wedges.

Oh I see! yes I made a mistake Thanks! yes they are wedges I just have to nail down what rim I need for these larger tires ..Any suggestions on what rim matches the tire size ??
 

They look like wedges in a double bevel rim I noticed it wedges , the tire reads 15.5-38 "on 14" rim" Im assuming those are the rims I have ??
 
15.5-38 is probably a 14 inch wide rim. Many rear tractor tire have the rim size printed on the tire near the bead.
 
After you price a new one, check with the tractor salvage yards, get a good used one for about 1/2 the price. I don't know where you are, but check with Bates International, I think they are in Ohio or Indiana. Lots of other places maybe closer to you. Chris
 
May have to buy a bare rim and weld the
loops on if you want new. Would be a lot
cheaper that way.
