I just won 7.5 million, and a new red Mercedes. From Publishers Clearing House. To be delivered this Friday. I'm going out and buying a new tractor, trailer, and new Dodge Ram, today. The government will get their share of coarse, but who cares it's free money. What a great country. Stan

Got one of those calls a while back, heavy Arabic accent, I hung up without saying any more.

A few minutes later they called back, same number which is unusual. Not sure why I answered it, but it sounded like a butt dial.

Sounded like they were in a car, jibber jabbering in some Arabic language, laughing and having a good time!

Dang, I wonder if I got one too. Got a call from an 800 number and didn't answer.

They got my mom several years ago with that one, dang infidels or whoever they were. She was in her late 70s at the time. Lucky she is in a small town rural area. For one the bank called me, cause when my dad passed I put my signatures in on her accounts. And the Walmart actually stopped here from sending the money order, again thank God for a small town. When I got ahold of her she said they told her not to tell her close friends or relatives so it would be a surprise. They must really be convincing, got her a couple more times since last time was a couple months ago; always got her money back up to this point. I think the next time she cannot resist I am going to have to start funneling her money. I did have a little fun with the first bunch they gave a number to call several states away when she had sent the money. I called them several times over my lunch with a fake name claiming to be an old farmer that had just got a bunch of money from selling cows. Played it as if I had heard from a neighbor..my mom.. how to get a fancy new car by just paying some process fees. Told him I had my bank numbers ready. They must have had several scams going on that number because they kept answering. One of the last times I told them I worked for the FBI and had tracked there number and were getting close to moving in on them. They actually answered again after that, said they had checked that there was no one by the name I left them. Then the conversation got a little dark as I vented on them. Luckily at that point the desk phone at the plant would just showed a switch board number so it could not be traced back to me. They changed the system now and we call through a computer application so now it shows my actual desk number, that fun is over now.

Sounds like a variation on the old Nigerian prince scam.

I just got a call for the 4th time from some guy claiming to be modifying my Medicare benefits. He had a really thick Indian accent. I told him the last three times he called that I was not interested in whatever he was selling. This time, I got rather rude and told him in no uncertain terms not to ever call back.

I expect that he will be calling back in the next few days anyways. Then I get to insult him again.

How can that be? I'm supposed to get 7.5 million and red Mercedes this Friday. Got a million dollars worth of checks already sent out in the mail since the account will be covered on Friday.

I've won every year for the last 40 years so they say but Ed McMahon never showed up at my front door. The new guy better be careful if he comes driving up in my neighborhood.
