I don't know much about these, a little what I find on the internet. My Dad bought it a number of years ago at an auction in ND. Sounds like parts availability would be very tough, so should I sell it rather than trying to get it running? I believe the engine is stuck. It would be a cool thing to get running though. Anyone know about the drive on these? It must have brakes that are used for turning, so that may be one item needed. Any sources for anything on these tractors?

The time frame of that machine probably makes it have a generic engine, ie Hercules, Waukesha, Ford, Oliver/Hart-Parr, Int/farmall etc. So making it run may not be as difficult as you think. It will cost some money. Then there is the hydraulic pump when you get it running. Looks like a fun machine to make work. The longer it sits the harder it will be to find parts or someone with knowledge about it. You probably should have started last week. lol good luck. wishing you great success gobble

Those tires could eat you up if you happened to get bumped off while the tractor was in motion. Wingnut

Sell it.

ALmost zero forward visibility, a dangerous and clunky machine to operate and one surprise after another on the road to getting it running.

Might be fun for about five minutes before the reality of the thing sets in. No, I don't have any experience with these tractors, just know from looking at it that I'd give it wide berth.
