I disked the first field of the Year this afternoon. Moisture is just perfect! The turbo 706 pulled the 16-foot Oliver disk in 4th gear.

That looks awfully dry for the first of March . I pull a 14 foot international 370 to the spools with either a 15 foot spike tooth harrow or roller in 4th gear

You fellows are making me drool. Been close to the first of the year since it's been dry enough to even consider any kind of tillage work and that only lasted about 2 days on some lighter land. Been so wet we barely were able to stand up to get the ditches mowed. Hopefully maybe we can get back in the field towards the end of the week. Surely looking forward to it.

Steve, did you get adequate snow in the mountains this winter to supply water into summer? I saw a number of storms heading into the mountains but they were appearing to not make it over.

No snowfall is way short this year. Are
irrigation supplies are extremely low.
It's going to be hard dry summer. I
won't have to set some ground out this
year.
