Ih C200 engine

I have a 674 with a gas c200 engine in it. Looks like the tractor
used to be a diesel by the serial plate. My question is the on the oil
pressure relief valve. A buddy and I pulled the cap off where it should
be and there is no spring or valve. Tractor ran with good oil pressure
before and would keep it till the oil got warm then it would go about
halfway on the gauge. Now until the oil gets warm, anything above idle
will shoot oil out the oil filter. It has a spin on filter that spins on from the
top. But I am having a hard time finding that parts diagram to find the
spring and valve I need. Any help would be appreciated

STRANGE what you have going on, with the relief valve and spring missing it would seem you would have extremely LOW oil pressure, not HIGH oil pressure that "shoots oil out the oil filter".

Is it possible the spring and valve are in there, but assembled backwards, or that the spring is missing and the valve is somehow jammed in there, (Key numbers 26 and 27). Note that the oil pressure regulating valve is near the back of the block, in the oil gallery.

On the other hand, is it possible you are removing "bolt", (Key #5) that passes through the oil filter "base"and looking for the pressure regulating valve and spring there?

Some thing missing . Did oil pressure change before you checked for a relief valve or did you attempt some repairs and it was after that the pressure went very high.

Relief valve is on the side of engine block and if missing you would have near zero pressure like Wore Out pointed out.

No I used it a few days ago and it was fine, then the next day I went to move it out of the barn, started fine but when I started moving and gave it some gas then oil started coming out of the filter

Are you sure there is not a second filter sealing quad-ring between the filter and the base that was stuck and accidentally left there. Kind of odd that once it blew out oil that it would not continue to all the time but odd things do happen.

(quoted from post at 09:21:45 03/01/21) Thats exactly where I was looking at 5

OK, so now move rearwards of the plug you were playing with to near the flywheel housing mounting flange and take out plug #23, and you'll find the relief valve and spring under it.
