Well, more good news. I just got my Massey Ferguson 35 home. The serial number is SGF 199439 There is no ignition switch in it, just a toggle switch. I want to install a new ignition switch so I will have lights and everything will work the way it is supposed too. But, I don't even know the exact switch to buy. Let alone which wires are supposed to be hooked to which poles on the back of the switch. Can anyone help me with this problem. Any help at all will be appreciated. thank you
 
This should help. Supposed to be for an MF 35, you should spot check some connections and confirm. Get free AGCO parts book online. A new key switch should be available from Agco p/n 180681M93 lots on the web for under $40

Does your dash have the ignition/light switch combo on the right, and a push button starter switch on the left?

If so, it takes this ignition switch.

The wiring is simple, a hot wire from the amp meter will go to the BAT terminal of the switch. The IGN terminal goes to power the coil and any other ignition operated accessories. The LIGHT terminal powers the lights.

If the terminals are not marked an ohm meter will show what terminal does what.

If the starter button is missing or bad, you will need this.

It will wire from the IGN side of the ignition switch to one terminal of the starter button. The other side of the starter button wires to the neutral safety switch. From the other side of the neutral switch to the starter solenoid.
