Had the inj. pump redone. Now I have fuel up to the injectors, but the way the lines connect I am sure there is still air in them. Starter spins it over good but I get no smoke from the exhaust. Will that air compress enough to crack the injector? What if they are stuck, will it hurt the pump if I continue cranking? Tractor ran last in 2012.

Hurting the starter motor is more likely. Make sure the pump is getting diesel, the loosen all injectors at the injector. Crank for no more than 20 seconds (fuel set to max or start if it has that position. Let it rest for 2 minutes, then 30 seconds again. Might need the charger on it. repeat until the diesel comes out of the loose connection. then tighten each as they leak. It might start! if it does tighten the remaining injector lines as fuel appears. It will not compress air to pop the injectors. Jim

Messed with it for quite a while with no smoke. Took one injector out & hooked it up to the line. Spun it over & no spray from the tip. I pulled them all & will need to get them unstuck. Is this something I can try myself?

I got one apart & the pintle was stuck. Had to gently heat it with propane & when the wax melted, it slid apart too. Cleaned it all up & it was free to move. Put it all together & will have it pop tested before I install it.
