Kinda of warm today, 44* to hot for me! Fixed a few kitchen chairs, brought in wood, as mud season will be here soon, watched one of my favorite mares win at 6 years old, saw the sun go down and then made a pizza. All in all it was a nice day here in eastern NY
 
Cool, my grand parents bought these chairs in 12/68, they gave them to me in 2000 when I bought my home, I like them.. thanks for the link,
 
I too took my sweatshirt off and wore a long sleeve shirt to bring in wood, yes 44*, we have been below freezing for 52 days starting January 2 nd, I rather have the cold and frozen ground, than the mud,,,,
but Im looking forward to getting baby chicks pretty soon, and more logs for firewood!!
I dont think your more than 6 -+ hours from me, Im not far from Albany if you know were that is, I had an uncle in Buffalo, I saw as a kid, then we went to Niagara Falls, and had dinner in the skylon The revolving restaurant, but that was a long time ago..

I wish I went back to visit Canada again, now with this nnalert who knows, I always said if I have to leave here, because of the government, Id go to Canada 🇨🇦 ,, i dont think I could afford to live in Switzerland 🇨🇭 😂😂 or Norway,
My second choice!!! Then 3rd Alaska,, snow, cold, firewood!! 🤔🤔
 
We had about 2" of wet snow then drizzle for most of the day. Not enough to melt off the new snow.
 
Since a local building collapsed I decided to shovel off the garage roof. Was worried about it.

Wasn't bad and like you said, we did stay under freezing for about 2 months. 30 and above, I use so much less wood, heck if this keeps up, I'll have 2 cord left over + or - !

Mud season, lol, well it lasts a week or so here, then gone thankfully.
