What did you decide on the JD M? Also do you still have the youtube channel? If so would you mind either reposting one of the video links or remind me of your channels name. I tried to look it up the other day but couldnt find it as I forgot the name . Looks like another nice Ford , I'm sure you got another good deal.

Appears to be an early 8N as in front mount distributor. I have parts for it by the way so maybe we can do some battering

I too cut my teeth on 8N Ford at about the same age. Now,at age 64,I was finally able to get my own 8N.

Like a lot of others on here, I started out on an 8N.
Was driving it when I was 10.
Still driving the same one at 68.
Been in the family since new.

I started on the Ford 4600s at 14, then bought the 1720 and the 4610, I wouldnt trade that for any 8n! 😂😂😂😂

License plate laws......hmmmmm. Well the goofy little plastic bracket on back door of the box trailer broke off 3-4 years ago. Tag has been on the dash since then. It's not been renewed in 2 years. Bumper hitch flat bed bought new a year ago has never had a tag. And goose neck hasn't been tagged since I've owned it either. 5+ years. Previous owner never tagged it either. Not a big issue in Alabama.
