And here is link to the hill climb reenactment in 2019. I had the privilege to see it. Just amazing torque. I think case 150 weighs about 70,000 lbs and the 4 engines behind it total over 60,000 lbs I think.
All that weight starting up an incline at zero rpm. Power of steam

It actually peaked at 170 hp and 5000 lbs ft of torque. 1.5 million to build this
replica and 4000 man hours. Original was built in 1904 and scrapped in 1918. All but
the boiler. Production # was 14666. The 4 engines it pulled were on a 13% grade and
almost 58,000 lbs. Was built originally for a copper mine in N. M. 55 mile trip
pulling wagons loaded with copper. Gears wore out fast due to soft metal. After an
accident it powered a saw mill until the copper ran out. Case built 9 of them between
1904 and 1907.
Chug chug

After watching one "run-away" on the bakers fan at Rough and Tumble a few years ago, it appears that it takes a gentle hand on the throttle to keep from getting too much draft going.

The boiler is new. There is an original boiler in Rollag, Mn but is in poor shape. Anderson got the serial plate off of it and put it on the new boiler.
