yes its a wheat heart, but in general we call them a bin sweep. bought it this summer so its time for the show n shine now.

they really work good once your grain level get low that the auger wont grab it then u install this sweep and you just walk it around the bin and it brings the grain to the auger. not a backbreaking job shoveling , just some shoveling on clean up.

Our bins have in floor augers so the sweep can go clear around the sweep has a peg that fits in the hole and that augers the grain out of the bin

Well all be eating that rainbow stew with a silver spoon and drinkin that free bubble up!

And dragging 5000 feet of extension cord behind the tractor . Wonder what well do when we need to spray or work around Wheel lines and pivots should be ok shouldnt it ?

Dragging the line ! Havent heard that oldie in a while . Better get ur self a helicopter

Years ago I got a 30 foot auger, pto drive that the shaft sticks out a bit on the bottom and can bolt on a pto joint and a sweep auger, has a stand and handle on the far end. The sweep is about 10, 12 feet long. Sort of the same thing but simpler. Ill guess yours can circle around more with the incline, mine does a V sweep inside the door. Helps a lot tho, not much left to shovel.

Handy deal when the alternative is a shovel.

did that several years ago,we just made shaft extension on bottom of auger and knuckle slid on bolt went thru. you had a power sweep, they really helped but they were really could be dangerous. i think they were no longer able to be sold.now days most guys use vac to unload bins in my area, way better for your health, but you must wear hearing protection as you can hear those units screaming half mile away really easy.

Looks like you have a Sakundiak auger, built in Regina, Saskatchewan. Very popular auger around these parts. I worked two or three winters at the factory that made them, knew the owner very well. After he passed away the factory was sold to Meridian.
