Wife made it. Started with a Grain Belt. Then a deluxe(butter, sour cream, white sauce, peas, cheese) baked potato. Banana for desert.

I grew up and still "try" to practice no meat everyday of the week; but it is hard with a wife that does not follow the old school everyday rule.

Kept the wife in the barn too long.....bowl of rice crispy cereal, with banana slices. Made up for it this morning. Biscuits and gravy

SWMBO went to Tenn to visit cousin. Left us with a crockpot of Ham and Bean soup and cornbread fixin's. Didn't get to eat til nearly 8pm but it was really worth it.

Well John, the problem with that was that mom served beans and an onion growing up. When I got to be a teen, Friday nights were date nights ! You wouldn't believe the shennagins I'd pull to get away from, out of the car, out of the seat next to or up from the table from my date for the evening. Really a total inconvenience. After I married and shared lives with that date for 49 years of marriage, (she passed on) I told her about my capers. Her reply was....."so that's what you were doing with all that weird behavior back when we were dating"!
