does the Messick's or CIH website have a "where used" section, for those parts you bought years ago, still in original wrapping, and never used, and now you have forgotten even what machine you got them for? Asking for a friend....

Im not real sure what you mean. Are you thinking they would have sort of classified adds where they would sell his parts or tell him what they would pay for them? I have never heard of something like that. That would be more of an EBay type thing. There are classified adds on this site. Otherwise Google the part numbers and you may be able to find what they fit and the price others are selling them for.

Right side of Messicks page is a part number lookup. Should give you a list of medals to choose from that use that part.

Have you run the part number past The GOOGLE? It's amazing sometimes what that will turn up, even for some oddball part.

Good evening, all: I have used Google to look up numbers on hand tools, sometimes even a patent number will bring up a useful description of the item. Pick a day when you have some time to kill, sometimes it is slow, but does not cost anything, and may be helpful on parts.

the Google idea worked great! Dunno why I didn't try it before- I use it all the time for other stuff. Thanks for the reminder. I mean, my "friend" thanks you....
