You made me think about getting a cab tractor when you did.

Sorry if I was snippy before, glad to have you back.

By all accounts the Essex was very advanced, hard to say what it looked like. Although I expect it was flambeau as that is the only known paint to provide the amount of power it was reported to have.

David,
I'm happy to have a cab. I'm very impressed with Kubotas clean exhaust. I don't smell anything. I don't see any black particles.
Don't see anything during regen. The hydraulics is light years ahead of the terramite.

Unlike you I haven't been able to push snow.
It snowed about 8 times this winter, about an inch time. Haven't used the Kubota after I removed the mower.
I built a pole barn for the Kubota and glad I had it built when I did. The guy I bought the pole barn from said the price increased about 30% , mostly from increase in lumber.

I'm also happy with the upgrades to the pole barn. Love the clear panels under the vented eves. I only need lights at night. I made it tall enough for a second floor to store things.

It was hard to spend the extra money on the titan forks, but they are my elevator to the second floor and worth every penny.

Took me awhile moving everything from old workshop into the pole barn. Moving the antique metal brake was the biggest challenge. Didn't have far to move it. Without rear ballast all the weight was applied to the front wheels.

I went very slow moving it.

Maybe someday I'll get luck and push some snow.

I don't know why some pics are doubles.

That is great George.
Very nice building by the way.
Much fancier than my home built shop we sawed out with one of our sawmills.

Pete,
Thanks, and lucky she is a farm girl that can drive a tractor and not damage it.

Larry,
Good cook and yes she has a sister. Does your wife have a set of Lorena Bobbit knifes? LOL.
George

Geo, I bought one of them about the same time you did. I did not like the hyd hoses outside the loader so I moved them inside. Was afraid I might hit them. I am happy with them now. Only took 4 connectors. Nice tractor .
Did you add the tall exhaust pipe?

I added a 4 inch x 5 foot galvanized
stove and painted it black. I use large
radiator clamps to hold it in place. It's
easy to remove if I have to open the
hood. I couldn't smell any exhaust.
Breathing nitrogen oxides gives me a
slight headache. The next bigger models
have vertical exhaust so I couldn't see
damaging the particle filter. It regains
just fine.

I have no problems with the hydraulic
hoses. That said I don't use the Kubota
to clean brush and run through the woods
like I do the Terramite. I would be
afraid of damaging the radiator, tires,
the windows and the cab. Its almost 8 ft
tall. I had to prune a lot of trees to
use it as a lawn mower.

Always wanted an air conditioned
lawnmower and a heated snow plow. .

And it serves as my elevator to the
second floor.

No DEF. No exhaust smell. No black particles in exhaust. When wind is in the right direction and little exhaust gets in cab, not pleasant.
