Jonf,

Shoulda bought a farm in the tropical part of MN... was a toasty -19 here this morning. LOL

It's 35 and 94% humidity, light south wind in north Texas.

Haven't been out yet, too cold for me.

Don't know how you can take it up there in the frozen tundra!

Give ms 100 degrees, cactus and mesquite trees any day!

We had -24 at 6am. The dogs went and did there buissnes and back to the kennel Stay warm and safe

I moved up here to get away from that exhaustive heat. ...Might've gone a [i:3ae73d0717]wee[/i:3ae73d0717] bit overboard, though. *lol*

Was common to get into the -40's F back 15 to 20 years ago, but is rare that we get below -35F these days.

I saw it hit -34F about 4am. Was sunny and -28F at 9:30am.

I remember a cold spell we had some years back that lasted well over 2 weeks. Temps never got above -20F even in the daytime. Was glad we were down to only 2 dogs then. Brought them into the house as they were getting old. House is barely big enough for two people. But the two big dogs were perfect angles, knowing it was still super cold out.

Lived down there in Gufport for seven years. Felt just as cold as my native WI weather. Dropping from 70 in MS to just below freezing seemed mighty cold. Back in WI and our temp this morning started out a -16 at 5 AM and then slipped down to -18 before starting back up. Global Warming has us up to -2 now at 11:30 AM. The sun sure helps.

26 here but snowing. Got a few inches and more coming on top of the two feet we got the beginning of the week.
