Where do I check the transmission oil level? I was told there is a knob under the
seat with a dip stick, but mine doesn't have that.

There’s a farm by Avon that had a fleet of German cucumbers. I worked with the son until he took over the herd.I could try to connect you with them as they are nearby. They probably still have some cucumbers there.

My D6806 Deutz has the hydraulic fluid dipstick under the seat and the trans fuid (80w90 gear oil) dipstick is on the floor where your left foot sets.

See picture. Dipstick is threaded. The transmission on a 100 06 is also the hydraulic reservoir, so if you have any hydraulic leak be sure to check and maintain the level.

On rohdog50's 68-06, there is a separate reservoir for hydraulic oil.
