Found this, just had to have it!

Been looking for a hit-miss for a while. Then this came along, even though it is not a true hit-miss as it has a carb with a governor.

It was supposedly running a couple years ago and has been inside. I've never seen one with a condensing radiator, something that seemed unique about it.

It's probably not real collectable, but it'll be a good project. Still undecided to clean it up, or take it apart and go through it and paint it. It looks complete and unmolested. Needs a muffler.

I'll know more when I pick it up Saturday.

Georgetown, that’s where I grew up, live 45 minutes away in Elgin now. It got to be too much like Austin that’s why I moved to Elgin.

Good morning, Steve@advance: My thinking would be, if it can be made to run and will not be damaging any parts of itself, go for it. It will never be as original as it is now, other than removing surplus dirt, crud, etc. so you can see the engine itself, not a pile of dirt.

Done them both ways, restored better than new and leave as original as possible. I like the latter for yours.

Here's a couple pics of my latest, part of a barter :). Still need to get it running. Engine is free.
A CT-2 Stover "Good" Engine, 2 -- 2-1/2 hp

Got the complete Meyers Bulldozer water pump that originally was part of it. Not sure if I'll mess with that ..... hmmm ... maybe!
