Had begun to take shape . New used fan aground came today
now I can put the the side screens back on . Next need to find
a decent used hood I was looking at aftermarket new but I
guess they are junk a new John Deere is 2500.00$ . Does
anyone know if these are the correct vent holes for a 1967

I probably should Get a used one at least . My 60$ water pump sent the fan through the radiator and ruined the shroud radiator and fan I’m just getting it put back together now and yes the fan has had the crescent wrench treatment. I haven’t worried about the shroud because it never runs hot but with the way the hood is bent the fan hits my side screens without the shroud . Next on the list Is new front panels around the fuel tank

We replaced the fan with one off I think 2520, fits right up and throws a lot more air.

I have read about using AR64075 as a replacement fan on 4020's. Used on 2940, 4030, 4230 and some others. 6 blades instead of 5.

If you can find a 4020 for 25 let me know . I’m going to try and I think I can find a used hood just haven’t gotten serious don’t have the cash flow at the moment

Difficult to find but they are out there. Just a few years ago at an auction there was a complete 4010 with an early 4020 motor that ran for 3,000 dollars. A lot of things were poor on it but it is a matter of what you need versus what is on the tractor for you to use. Just before the nnalert shutdown there was a scheduled auction that had 3 4020 diesel non-runners in it. Don't know if the auction will ever be rescheduled or if things just got sold off privately.
