Welcome, always glad to have new faces! Everyone likes pictures, but you need to make 4 or 5 posts before you can post pics. If you have trouble posting pictures, plenty of guys to guide you. My herd. Chris

Well they let me on here and I know nothing about farming.

You will find some very good people here. Always willing to help. When asking for help they will need to know. Model and serial number. And all the information you can give them.

Hope this helps.

I live just over the border to the West. In the state of despair. Got a couple old tractors. Pull a little. In Indiana. Like Princeton the end of the month. Will try to pull my 435 JD. There.

I use James's method, but when I select one of my pictures. I double click it and then it uploads. Sometimes it is painfully slow to upload, be patient.

Welcome to the best online community in the world.

My husband and I have mix of tractors: John Deere B (unstyled), Farmall F20, Case DC3, John Deere 4020, and our favorite is our totally rusty 1931 Farmall Regular... we both have an affinity for rust. :)

LOL... not anymore. Those pics were during the engine work phase.... Ahhh, pics small on my phone and I didn't notice. :)

Vincennes area?. I went to college ( partied mostly) there. Went thru the john deere ag tech program there. I am about 2 hours east of there.

I went to VU automotive (AS degree) in Fall 1967-Spring 69 Caught a 50 pound Channel Cat in the Wabash river. Nice town. Beautiful area. My Mom was from the Olney area, and my wifes dad from Grayville. Jim

(quoted from post at 08:31:15 02/01/21) I have read different formuns for years but never joined in. I decided to join to get some info on different things. I have John Deere and Ford tractors.

It's funny how that works, there are quite a few forums I have followed for a long time, there is one cattle forum I have regularly followed for over 15 years and still not joined.
Tried once and at the time the system rejected my e-mail address because it had a number in it.

Sometimes being the fly on the wall you can get all the information you need without saying a word and at the same time because you have read so much about the members in a way you get to know some of them in character anyways and look forward to reading their comments.

Tractors seem to be a different story.
If you use them the day will come when you are broke down and in need of help.
That was why I finally joined here after lurking in the shadows for years.
More knowledge on here than any book could ever provide and in general a great bunch of people who are willing to go out of their way to help and share their knowledge with anyone who asks.
Enjoy yourself, I find it a lot more interesting than reading the news in the morning and if anything important is happening you usually hear about it on here anyways.

I've been on this one for awhile. Site cops keep things "family" oriented. A lot of posters were on here when I got here and are still here. Can't measure the volume of expertise on here, especially in vintage green and blue machines. For some reason I go elsewhere for my modern tractor questions...I guess because they are more current equipment centered. Other thing is that there are a lot of private business posters in the construction business so you pick up on different areas of expertise. I know that this site has a newer tractor forum and sometimes one will post newer questions in the older forum sections....but that's ok. Seldom do you get referrals to go to the newer section.

Glad you found it. I know you'll like it.

Welcome to YT ASAP. Lots of fine fellows and ladies here . I enjoy the old John Deere tractors as well .
