We are getting freezing rain right now, forecast for 3-6" snow on top of that.

The 6610 is back together, outside and waiting for weather to break and new owner take it home. He would have got it if weather was a couple hours later moving in. The right side oil cooler line was leaking and the cable from the loader joystick to the control valve had water in it, and would freeze up when outside. It is a bugger to get the oil cooler line and lower radiator hose off, just not much room between engine and radiator. The Powerstar 110 is inside for the first time since I got it a couple weeks ago. It ends up about 6" wider and a couple feet longer than the 6610, but fits in the same spot.

The backup genset is working on the house and kicked in a couple time today. I will have to rollout the portable generator for shop if the power goes out and I need a tractor, or if it gets cold enough the shop might freeze up. It is well insulated, warm floor and banked into a north hill so it stays pretty temperate.

Guess we are on generator, power bumped an hour ago, just listened and generator is running.

This is when they pay off! You are one of the blessed ones David. I just need to bite the bullet and get one. I'm thinking (now) of the Kohler or B & S. Geneac has a bad name in my area. They talk the talk but don't walk the walk if you get my drift. Wingnut

The heavier weather was supposed to go through your neck of the woods. Here in northwest Iowa we have had a small amount of freezing mist just enough to make the sidewalk out the back door slicker'n walking on ball bearings. The paved roads are just wet but the gravel is a little slick, just the opposite of what we think it should be.

I came thru westbound on 30 late afternoon. Just east of Lisbon about 5:15, the ice and wind had the high lines slapping together and arcing. Put on quite a show. Side roads were just starting to ice when I got home. About 1" thick ice on the front of the truck. Good to be in for the night.

Hope you don't get too much ice... or snow.

So far, nothing in MN in our neck of the woods. I think we are supposed to get a bit of freezing drizzle and some snow.
