Country talk forum

Does anyone post down there? I have wondered for the 15 or
so years I’ve been in this site. When I check it out all I see are
unfamiliar usernames. It’s like it is it’s own separate universe.

Like Sweetfeet I read it a bit. Seems to be a different user set. Have gotten some interesting info off of it.

Many years ago I used to go there now and then and on a similar but long gone forum called country people. There were some pretty abrasive characters on those boards so I just quit going there and kinda forgot about them until you brought it up.

Its been there a while, and if you go way back there are some folks who use to post that were part of this side of YT, too. I only see a couple I recognize in more recent posts. I posted there some way back, but it got cliquey to me, so I stopped posting there.

That may be where when I first got on that I saw picture of "young fella old" sitting on his sofa.

Is the "country talk" forum the one called "Kountry Life"? If so, I read it all the time, and contribute (under a different user name) quite often. Although specifically supposed to avoid politics, the subject often comes up and can turn pretty nasty. I stay out of the political stuff. Other topics can be interesting and useful, ranging from trees to cooking to family news to dogs to old TV shows, etc. You name it, it probably has been a topic. As with any discussion forum, some of the contributors seem like pretty nice folks; a handful can come across as real jerks who get pretty insulting with their comments, even on some topics you would think would be noncontroversial. It seems that only a dozen or so folks contribute regularly; sometimes a day or two or three go by without any new comments at all. Speaking tongue-in-cheek (sort of), I think on average there are more regular comments on "my 8N won't start" on the 9-2-8 N tractor forum than all the comments combined on Kountry Life. (Don't flame me, please; I have four 8Ns, some of which occasionally don't like to start.)

I've tried to register and join the group, but have been unable to. The site won't show me a confirmation code to put in. I don't know if it's my virus protection on my computer or that they just want that forum to die out? There are some interesting topics that I would like to respond to but can't even become a member.

If you are on classic there is a long list of other forum choices on the left side of the page. Kountry is on the bottom of that list. If you are on Modern click on the yesterday's tractor logo on the very upper left corner of the screen and that will take you to a page with this long list of other forums on the left side like what is on classic. Again, Kountry is the very bottom choice.

Kountry Life is right above Classic Trucks on the Hop to section. Otherwise, look to the left as your reading this, See the Facebook Icon, look down below that. (Assuming your on classic)
