180 Char-lynn pump leak

My Char-Lynn pump is leaking badly where the shaft goes in the pump. What is the best recource? Thank you for the help. Leaks

I think you can get a new seal for it, not sure how big of a job it will be to get it out to put the seal in tho.

It's relatively easy to re-seal once you get to the unit.

You have to remove 4 bolts (15), carefully remove top cover (14) and replace seal rings 12, 13, and 16.

Be sure the inside-splined shaft stays "down" and does not rise up at all as you lift up the "cover". IMPORTANT!

If you are up to it, replace O-ring (10), as well, as a precaution against a leak later developing between the "cover" and the "body".
