tire pressure

Anywhere from 5-30 psi. Bias or radial, what are you using it for? Tire pressure is related to load on the tire.

The footprint should be about as long as it is wide. Jack up one tire, rake the soil kinda smooth, let it down and back up. Measure. If it will be loaded, factor that in. Jim

16-18 is good. i check mine on the cement floor or on the trailer. i can see how the outside lug is sitting. with lots of air the outside lug will be up in the air. i get it so its pretty well touching oe slightly up. just my way of doing it. was just doing that today.

What about front tires? I have to go look at mine tomorrow to see what size. I know it takes more with a loader tractor. Thanks.

That seems good if it is maybe 20% longer. Much depends on the amount of weight. Once in the field, testing pressures between maybe 15 and 22 seem reasonable to get traction. Jim

Radial or bias ? Rim width ? Travel speed ? Carried weight ? Level ground or ploughing in the furrow ? Number of plies ?
