Guess we will see how northern tool customer service is . The engine stand came With no hardware and missing the piece the motor actually bolts to. Did a little measuring and it’s 40 inches long with the legs extended I’m going to make legs to slip in the back to make it wider

I ordered a hand truck from Northern back in the fall, it came with no axle and only one wheel remaining in the package, so I refused delivery from FedEx and called customer service and they sent out another one a week or two later which arrived with all the parts still strapped on.

Right now it’s going backwards faster than forward . Just got a call that the head is cracked off the donor engine so now I’ve got to hurry and get the head pulled off the engine in the truck and get it sent to the machine shop

I sure wish you were closer, I have 2 heavy duty roll over stands and one has a 6B adaptor plate on it. It not only rolls over but you can lay the engine up on its side. I got 3 of them cheap when cummins closed down one of the small engine tech centers.

If you have a Northern Tool near you, order it through the store. Then returns are through them, not having to deal with shipping etc. But I know that is not a convenient thing for every one. Heck my closest is around 100 miles away (Des Monies) but I will still try to order through them and plan other activities or shopping when I want to pick up what I have ordered. Think it helps the 'local' store too.

Excellent customer service from Northern. This past summer I ordered a hose reel from them. Put it all together the swivel leaked. I did not want to dissemble and ship back because of swivel. So they sent me a whole new hose reel said to take out what ever parts I needed and ship the rest back. Easy company to work with.

Fed EX left a package in my driveway. That night I backed out of the garage and went to town. I saw the package when I pulled into the driveway at 9:20 PM. I had almost run over it when I backed out earlier.

Should have come and bought one of my trucks. 2001 1 ton 4x4 24 valve/ 6 speed extended cab. Have not put more than 10,000 on this one in 5 years. Drive the red one all the time. Also have a 24valve out of a 2001 with less than 500 miles on a fresh rebuild. Kinda saving it for my red truck if it ever needs an engine.
